It can be as simple or elaborate as you like. If you want a simple one, download this Basic Book of Centuries document that labels each two-page spread with a date (in hundred-year increments) from B.C.

to A.D. My Book of Centuries has a durable yet beautiful coated book cloth cover. It has the feel of cloth but resists stains. The book begins with four blank pages to record 'Earliest History' followed by a lined and blank page for each century from 40th Century BC to 21st Century AD.
